If reports are to be believed Arbaaz Khan is allegedly eyeing his co-star, Madhuri Bhattacharya from the movie ’Prem Kaa Game’.When asked, the actress denied the entire story strongly and said, “It’s ridiculous and doesn’t have an inch of truth to it. I don’t know where all this comes up from, Arbaaz is really a nice and decent human being.”

The actress went on to say, “When I met him first I was quite nervous but he made me very comfortable. And in fact, we become good friends and I respect him a lot.” Moreover, Arbaaz is quite impressed with Madhuri and has even signed her for his next movie “Bachelor’s Party”.

Arbaaz Khan will soon be coming up with his first film Dabangg under his own banner. This will be directed by Abhinav Kashyap and the cast will consist of Salman, Sonakshi Sinha and he himself. Will Malaika also be a part of the project?

Arbaaz Khan and Malaika had recently visited London for holidays along with their son Arhaan. They had also taken along their son’s nanny Jackin Fernandes, who had been working them for over a year.

While filmmakers are making films for overseas market, actor turned producer Sohail Khan has now made a film on the Kisaan of the country. Sohail states this film will be a real tribute to the farmers of the country. On why he picked up such a different subject, Sohail reveals, “I realized that one could only see the old in the village while their children have settled abroad. This plight made me take up the subject of Kisaan. Apart from Sohail the movie also stars Arbaaz and Jackie Shroff so why not Salman? Sohail clarifies on this bit stating, “Salman is already a star and larger than life character. I wanted someone who could balance the role. I know Salman bhai’s weaknesses and strength so never had in mind. Kisaan is not an issue-based movie. It is more about family bonding.

Several issues of farmers are part of the film.Sohail says that the journey, which he took during the making of his earlier film Heroes, inspired Kisaan. “My traveling experiences during Heroes made me realize what the real India is all about? I met many farmers during this journey and I spent a lot of time with them. They were so pure in their thoughts and emotions. They speak from the heart. I realized that we are so engrossed in the superficial city life” he says.The actor says that shooting in the interiors of Punjab itself was an experience by itself. “The panchayat and dalit scenes and dialogue appealed to the villagers while we were shooting. People came up to our director Punit Sira and told him that they were undergoing the same situation.

What I realized was that most of the farmers were under poverty line and were earning a meager Rs. 2000 per month while they own a gold mine.They have emotional bonding towards their fields and are not ready to sell it off” concludes Sohail.

Looks like the Khan Brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan don’t need elder brother Salman Khan anymore. For his latest home production ‘Kissan’, Sohail Khan didn’t cast Salman Khan even for the role of special appearance. When asked the reason behind doing so, Sohail Khan said he didn’t want to corrupt the film by using too many super stars in the film. Salman Khan, who is well known in the industry for not only being a good actor but also being a good brother too, is left all alone by his siblings today.

Sohail Khan said that he did not cast Salman Khan in the film, as it was not required by script and as he has something nice to put across to the audience he didn’t want to corrupt the film buy casting his big brother Salman Khan in it. Salman Khan has always been a part of Sohail Khan’s home production. Be it films like Hello Brother, Heroes or Hello, Salman Khan has done his bit of being available for his brothers and promoting their movies.

Then why is it that the Khan Brothers don’t need him this time. Is it the fear of Salman Khan snatching away their part of attention from the audience or is it something else?

Gossips, publicity stunts, media glaring are part and parcel of a celebrity’s life. Media keeps a 24/7 watch on their personal and professional life and tries to create news out of nothing. Any wrong happening in a celebrity’s life is a right opportunity for the media to knit news. The perfect example is Arbaaz Khan and his wife Malaika Arora who recently went to publicize a product but ended up sending a wrong message and as a result their 10 years happily married life became a matter of front-page interest. Arbaaz is a family man and the entire incidence upsets him a lot who is very possessive about wife Malaika.Arbaaz said he won’t tolerate any event that affects his wife’s image. It has hurt him intensely when media spread false news of their splitting up and his re-marriage and at the same time dragging their small child into the matter. He busted his anger to the media for spreading a wrong and misleading story and making juicy news out of his happily married life. Arbaaz’s parents were also disheartened about this false story and astonished to see how the matter turned into an ugly picture.

Why did you decide to be part of such a strategy?
Ponds is a big brand. When they wanted to re-launch, they approached Malaika and me. They were looking for people with a strong image who represented love and togetherness. There was a clear concept, strategy and script in place where they spoke about Malaika renewing our marriage vows at the end of the event. The stuff about the ‘other woman’ in my life and Malaika leaving me was concocted.

Both of you have been projected as publicity hounds.
Malaika and I don’t need to resort to such cheap publicity. I had my reservations about the concept right from the beginning but Ponds said they had it all covered — they’d protect and back us. They were supposed to do damage control on the same day as the break-up rumours but somehow that didn’t happen.

A lot of people feel it was because of the big money (Rs 1.5 crore) offered to you both that made you say yes to such a stunt…
That’s not true. Why would Ponds take people with strong images to tarnish them in the media? Nobody is blaming the marketing strategists that came out with the concept. It’s like in bad films, people blame the stars but not the director. Malaika and I did goof up and we are very sorry about it. We accept that it was our fault but it will never happen again.

Did Malaika and her family know that the break-up story was just a marketing strategy?
No. Our families are very upset and hurt. We didn’t keep them in the loop but we never thought that our images would be destroyed and we would be affected so badly. We regret that we did it. We apologise to our families for hurting them. It was just a strategy, which we thought was cute but we never thought it would get so ugly. In the process, we became the scapegoats. It’s an eye-opener for all celebrities today so that they too don’t get taken in by a publicity strategy of a big company. We fell prey to them — but that will never happen again.
