Amitabh Bachchan joins hand with Salman Khan who is not in the good books of the Bachchans. They have come together for a big task ‘STAR CINTAA Superstars Ka Jalwa’. It is a cause to raise funds for the Cine and TV artists. This a joint project by CINTAA and Star Plus.Speaking about the venture, Mithun Chakroborty Chairman of Cine Artistes Welfare Trust said, “The tower will have all the amenities.It will have an entertainment section, cafeteria, library, preview theater and many more facilities for the artists. It did take a lot of time but now hopefully we will complete the project very soon.”To raise funds, 52 actors will come together and perform on stage.

The names are Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and so on. The fund will be used in the welfare of the artists.They will be provided with medical services, rehearsal halls and preview theatres.”I am very happy to be here and be a part of this spectacular event that will not only entertain the audience but will also encourage a noble cause. I have been a part of Bollywood for over 20 years now and I owe every bit of my success to this Industry,” Salman said at a press conference.

Salman Khan has finally decided to tweet.The actor will now start tweeting in order to not actually communicate with his fans but then he would be using that to promote his TV show Dus Ka Dum.

Salman Khan usually is not much of a social person, but the ‘anti social’ actor will be resorting to the social media networking to communicate to his fans…

He, like the rest of us, must be dying to know just what Salman does in the ad.

Katrina Kaif waited till 6 am in the morning for her act. She turned angry as Salman Khan delayed her shooting and she had to wait so long. Katrina was at the Yash Raj to pre-record her act while Salman Khan was to shoot at the same studio around 1 am. Salman Khan arrived at the studio and insisted to shoot first. Says a source from the studio, “Khan had not rehearsed his act. His costume wasn’t even in place, but he was adamant on doing his act before Katrina. He shocked everyone.

Initially everybody thought he was there to see Kat’s act, but he really wanted to finish his shoot first. He said he wanted to wrap everything in one take. Since the crew wasn’t prepared for Salman’s act, everything — from his song, to his clothes and his dancers — had to be called in.”Katrina was asked to wait till Salman finished up, “She was there first and really lost her cool when he barged in and decided to record.

There was nothing she could do, except wait. Past midnight, she decided to call it a wrap and shoot the following day after the event.” Not only Salman delayed Kat but she was also asked to wait for Shahid Kapur’s act. Finally, Kat ended up at 6 am in the morning.

Salman Khan was rushed to the Geetanjali Hospital in Wai, on Monday night after a fire erupted on the sets, causing smoke congestion. He complained discomfort and soon he was taken to the Geetanjali Hospital in Wai where he was shooting for Arbaaz Khan’s ‘Dabanng’. There the doctor advised Salman Khan to give up smoking as it would cause a great harm to his health. “His (Khan’s) condition was aggravated by two factors.

First he had been travelling all of the previous day and was exhausted. Secondly, his smoking habits, coupled with the smoke inhalation, caused him further discomfort,” said Dr Jayghosh Kaddu, medical director of the hospital. “I told him that he would be a better actor to his fans if he gave up smoking as it would be better for his health. He took the advice very sportingly with a smile,” added Kaddu.

Tests have been conducted on the actor and reports tell that everything is fine. In the past, several times, Salman Khan promised to give up smoking but he failed to keep his words. Let’s see whether this time, he will be able to keep up his promise or not.

The actress  Zarine Khan created waves with her debut along with Salman Khan in Veer, though the movie didn’t do wonders for her as she is now back to square one. Nowadays, Zarine Khan is busy attending fashion shows and other events, but in spite of hectic schedule, the girl takes out time every night post work to make sure her make-up man, spot boy and driver have dinner at her house.

Reveals a source close to the actress, “Though Zarine is a star now, success has never got to her head. She is still very grounded and considerate of her spot boy, make up person, driver and those people she interacts with on a day-to-day basis. In fact she insists on them having dinner with her and only then does she allow them to leave.”

Salman Khan is known to posses a heart of gold. He always comes forward to help the poor. Known for his kindness, Salman Khan is always there for the destitute and for any social cause. But recently he showed a very negative image of him by not attending the Indian Super Queen, a beauty pageant for Hijra community. He was the special guests of the event and by not attending the function; he has broken the heats of many.

Salman Khan has broken the promise given to Hijra guru and social activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi. Fumed Tripathi remarked, “I don’t understand why celebrities have to make false promises when they don’t mean a word. It’s disheartening to know- celebrities find ‘cycling race’ more important than something which is so socially relevant.” Laxmi referred to the cycling race because Salman Khan was once present at the cycling race.

Whereas beautiful Zeenat Aman‘s presence brought grace to the event.  She said that she couldn’t refuse Laxmi to be one of the jury members in such a historical and socially relevant occasion.
