Deepika Padukone in short time has made mark in the Bollywood and made friends too. She might have gone through a bad patch personally after her break-up with Ranbir Kapoor but she has picked herself up well and moved on. According to sources, the reason she might have got over this so quick is her newfound friendship with Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

She started her career with SRK camp and quickly made foray in to other domains of Bollywood. In fact, she is the one who has never confined to any particular camp.The story goes that Deepika and Abhishek got very friendly in Goa while shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Khelenge Jee Jaan Se while she just had a breakup with beau Ranbir.

Deepika and Abhishek bonded well during the Goa schedule and the friendship has become so thick that Deepika is often seen going to Abhi-Ash’s residence for lunches and dinners.

Recently Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar had to fly to Manali to shoot romantic song in director Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s film Action Replayy. But unexpectedly it snowed a lot in Manali in February. And due to certain risks Shah cancelled the shoot.

Shah’s patience is really being tested for this movie as first, Ash’s extended the shoot for Mani Ratnam’s film, Raavan and now the weather is spoiling everything.The song that had to be shot is based on a 1970s melody by Pritam.

Vipul now requires some other date from both the stars for shooting the song that is rather difficult to set. So Vipul may have to cancel the song from the film.

Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan today defended his decision to boycott the Filmfare awards, where he was adjudged best actor for his role in Paa, saying he did it to protest against the “slanderous” media report about his daughter-in-law Aishwarya.”The article was indecent and any man in the world must oppose if such an obscene article is written about a woman in his family,” the 68-year-old actor said on his blog.The veteran film star termed the article in a city-based tabloid, as “slanderous”.Lambasting the report Big B said “the modesty of a lady in my house was slandered… the article slandered Aishwarya, so it was very hard to participate in a function organised by the same media house.”

No women would like her personal issues such as fertility or motherhood being discussed in this manner, he added. An article published last week claimed Aishwarya, married to Amitabh’s son Abhishek was suffering from stomach tuberculosis and this might be the reason that she had not yetconceived. Amitabh demanded a public apology from the media house and since this did not take place, the entire Bachchan parivar boycotted the Filmfare award ceremony organised by the same group yesterday. Even Aishwarya Rai, who was to perform at the awards, pulled out from the event and the Bachchans have served a legal notice to the newspaper.

“For the moment… that despite a few personal apologies from the management and owners, no public apology has taken place.You cannot abuse me in public and then come and say sorry to me in private,” he wrote on his blog.

Aishwarya Rai is completely upset with the fake rumor of her pregnancy. She is fed up of giving explanation that she is completely alright and is not suffering from stomach tuberculosis. The former Miss World says, “I am absolutely fine… rocking.”Ash got an opportunity to speak her mind at an award function hosted by NDTV in the Capital. She won the Entertainment Icon at the event and in her thanking speech she said, “Please don’t pay heed to reports about my ill-health.This time, the media has really gone overboard with the whole thing.

And I doubt if anyone even knows anything about the disease I am supposed to be suffering from!” Clarifying about her health issue, Ash said, “Abhishek had to clarify for me. Do people even know the difference between stomach and womb to be saying this?”Ash was present with her in-laws Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan but Abhishek Bachchan was absent during the event, she said, “Abhi didn’t want to miss the function.

Our family tries to spend as much time as possible together. But he’s busy working double shift.”

The first family of Indian cinema, the Bachchan parivar, will not attend the Filmfare Awards in protest of the “fake” report published by a Mumbai-based tabloid about Aishwarya Rai’s health. Aishwarya, who was to perform at the awards has pulled out from the event and the Bachchans have served a legal notice to the newspaper and are demanding a public apology.The tabloid and Filmfare both belong to the same publishing group, who are organising the award ceremony.”The lawyers notice has been delivered… seeking on a legal plane retraction and apology and we have informed Filmfare that neither will Aishwarya be performing at the event, for which all preparations had been made and neither shall any of us be attending,” wrote Amitabh Bachchan on his blog.

Aishwarya Rai is an angry young lady these days. And she isn’t in the mood to forget or forgive the shocking that recently published a report of her having pregnancy problems because of stomach tuberculosis. Now, the Bachchan bahu rani has boycott an award ceremony because the function is associated with the mother company of that same tabloid.Main nahi nachhongi no matter how strong the lure of lucre.

That’s the message Ash seems to be sending.According to media reports, Ash has backed out of performing at the award function for which she was offered a staggering Rs 85 lakhs. This was the only event for which she had agreed to perform this year.Aishwarya Rai is demanding an apology from the tabloid and her parivar is with her, supporting this decision.

She has even mailed the tabloid about the slanderous report and asked for an apology but none has come from the tabloid till now.

For the last two days, the Bachchan family has been bursting out their anger on media for reporting falsely about Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy. Abhishek lashed out at media for publishing fabricated story about his wife and hurting her emotions and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan also slammed at media for writing false stories about the woman of his house. Aishwarya who was completely upset and depressed with the report asked MM for apology and surprisingly, they denied and stick to their statement.

Abhi tweeted, “thank you all for coming out so vociferously. for the few who think i should let it slide, one question. what if the article was written about your wife, mother daughter or sister? how would you react?” He informs that his wife wrote a letter to the publication house and asked for apology but the response was unsatisfactory. “Aishwarya wrote a letter to the editor of MM denying the report and asking for a “retraction and apology”. they’ve printed her rejection but not the rest of the letter. and haven’t had the decency to apologize!,” he wrote.

Abhishek thinks that the media should be responsible at least while writing about women. “apart from the fact that they have written so carelessly about a woman let alone my wife. my issue is when is all this kind of journalism going to stop???? i have immense respect for the media. they are the opinion makers of a nation, our conscience. They must be res responsible!!!,” signed of Abhishek.

News has it that with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan undergoing a treatment for stomach TB, her pregnancy plans are put on a backburner.
