Megastar Shah Rukh Khan will deliver a keynote address at the opening session of Ficci-Frames 2010 beginning im Mumbai from March 16. Katrina Kaif will also be present at the inauguration for lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The Global Convention on the Business of Entertainment will be held from 16-18 March, 2010.

Chief minister AshokChavan, ministry of information and broadcasting secretary Raghu Menon, James Nicholas Gianopulos, chairman and CEO, Fox Filmed Entertainment, Dutch mainstream actress Victoria Koblenko and FICCI Entertainment Committee chairman Yash Chopra are the other speakers at the opening session.

About 30 sessions covering the entire gamut of media and entertainment like films, TV broadcast, digital entertainment, animation, gaming, visual effects and radio etc have been scheduled during the three-day deliberations, a press release issued here today said.

Talking to a news daily, a close source from the unit said, “Katrina plays a politician and Jha had selected the costumes to suit her character.However, Katrina expressed her doubts about wearing the dull saris and asked Jha to let her wear simple but dark coloured sarees. She mainly wasn’t convinced about the off-white saris she was asked to wear.”Meanwhile, Jha amiably clarified to Katrina the reason behind wearing plain saris as the source added, “He told her that though she is an actress, she plays a politician and it’s essential that she wear such colours in ‘Raajneeti.’ The debate went on for a long time and nearly erupted into an argument.

However, after Salman pressed on with ‘Veer’, Anil left behind his plans.Now that everything is well settled, the director is gearing to bring up the romantic-comedy film.
