And he’s opened himself to questions about his spat with the irrepressible Shah Rukh Khan, his relationship with the lovely Katrina Kaif, and whether he is threatened by her success on screen with the rising Akshay Kumar. BT, however, chose to work around these questions and put the lovable Sallu on the hot seat for a rollercoaster round of dum-walla sawaal…

Katrina and Akshay… the new hit jodi, is it true you don’t like her working with him?
Honestly, I have no issues with Akshay. He’s a simple, hard-working guy. They look good together on screen and their films are doing well.

And Shah Rukh, what if Katrina does his ‘Temptation’ show?
She should, I have no problem. She’s even working with John and I have no issues with that. But Vivek is a big NO… there’s no chance, she cannot work with him.

You’re still bitter about the past?
Salman ko chamat maar, maar ke phir puchte ho maaf karoge? Tell him (Vivek) to save his acting for the screen and not off it. I cannot forget what he’s done to me.

But you’re such a large-hearted guy…
But I’m not God. The same people said I was bad boy, daaru peeta hai, jail gaya, maarta hai… accident karta hai.

What if you became God for a day?
I wouldn’t be able to handle the responsibility so I don’t want to be Him.

Shah Rukh’s not vocal about the differences you both have…
I wouldn’t have talked about it, but I had no choice, I feel so bad that something like this has happened. For me to behave in such a manner at my own party… imagine the enormity of the problem and what must have happened between us. The problem is from his side, not mine. You must remember, true success doesn’t understand crab mentality. It’s secure and beautiful.

Has somebody played mischief here?
No, it was entirely my choice. We had fought earlier, too, and I forgave him at the behest of my brother. Sohail asked, ‘If your brother does wrong, will you not forgive him?’ And I went and hugged Shah Rukh. I was genuinely happy and celebrated his success everytime.

What are you all about?
I know right from wrong. I accept my mistakes. I’m driven by my heart, my heart is in my thinking, it’s not just a pumping machine. I live in my own world, but that world is very humane. I am touched by the needy’s need. That’s me.

Is cinema your life?
No, my life outside is more fulfiling. I don’t consider myself a filmstar. I cycle to work, meet people on the way, oblige them, nobody bothers me on the road. Cinema is a three-hour jaunt in which I pull people away from their daily woes. Logon ne hamein sar pe chada ke rakha hai. And what I make of that adulation is in my hands. If I start believing I’m invincible, that’s when the downslide will begin.

Will you ever get married?
Next year, I’m settling down in 2009 and would like to become a father immediately.

With Katrina?
She’s my girlfriend, so, yeah.

It’s once again the war of the beauty queens - this time however, not on the silver screen but in the world of advertisements. Let’s take a look at who’s trying to dethrone Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The World’s most beautiful woman and tinsel town’s most coveted ‘Bahu’ - Mrs Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has stiff competition, as Asia’s sexiest woman Katrina Kaif, readies herself to take over the throne.

It’s more and more signing of brands signing that the rising star Katrina Kaif has been doing these days, which seemingly is threatening Ash’s brand equity endorsements. The final nail in the coffin comes in with Katrina replacing Aishwarya, as a brand ambassodor for a popular diamond jewellery brand.

Certainly, the coup of the beauty queens is becoming a spectacle to watch out for, so is it marriage or is it age that’s placing Ash on the back burner? Abhisek Bachchan, quite miffed about these media speculations, recently commented that he’d be interested in knowing about this new development.

Well even the viewers would surely be interested in knowing the reason, that places Katrina ahead of Aishwarys in the brand equity race but till the mystery unravels, the war of the beauty queens is surely going to be a closely combative duel.

Yes, recently Akshay Kumar asked Salman Khan to marry Katrina Kaif .

And it all happened on Salman’s game show ‘Dus Ka Dum’ which Akshay played along with Katrina to promote their film Singh Is Kinng .

Last month, there were reports that Akshay had turned down Salman‘s offer to play ‘Dus Ka Dum’ along with Katrina, but now the latest update is that the show has been shot and done with.

And as expected, the show was filled with fireworks and tongue-in-cheek remarks that both Akshay and Salman poked at one another, while Katrina had a whimsical confused look on her face.

Reports are that the episode featuring the real life pair Katrina-Salman and the reel life hit pair Akshay-Katrina, would surely bang all TRPs garnered by any channel till date.

Reports add that Akshay took charge and fired some ultra personal questions at Salman.

Akshay is even reported to have asked Salman as to “why doesn’t he get married to his beautiful girlfriend Katrina?”

A newspaper even quoted an insider saying, “Salman who has never admitted to his relationship with Kaif, didn’t like this public outing. But Kumar didn’t stop here. He went on to tell the host that he has a nice girl like Kat and he should treat her properly. Then he added the final blow saying that Kat was young and Sallu was getting old, so he should think hard about settling down as one shouldn’t be alone at his age”.

Salman, looked visibly annoyed, but did not give into his anger and moved on with the show gracefully.

Bollywood beauty Bipasha Basu has spoken to the media about her problems with fellow actresses.

Bipasha says, “We should realise that women are transparent creatures and we can’t be friends with anybody. Kareena and I had a problem so many years back that today I don’t even remember what it was. I don’t know Kareena as a person but today I can say openly I don’t have any problems with her. People then created awkwardness and with constant repetition the problem got aggravated but I hold no grudges. She’s a wonderful actress.”

When asked if she has a problem with the new Bollywood Queen Katrina Kaif, Bipasha admits, “Yes there is a problem between Katrina and me. But there could be reasons for that. It could be because of our boyfriends (John Abraham and Salman Khan) but that never affected our work. We didn’t speak during Race but that never stopped us from shooting.”

“I could walk up to Kareena and do that; but no, I can’t do that with Katrina. There is awkwardness between Katrina and me. We don’t talk to each other,” Bipasha said further. “Enough negativity was generated between Kareena and me which created awkwardness. I don’t want people to think that of Deepika and me. She and I didn’t interact much during the shooting of Bachna Ae Haseeno. I got to know her during the music video and promotions. She is very expressive, talented has got a very raw, on screen persona and is a great girl.”

Sohail Khan Productions’ sequel to Partner, titled Partner 2, will not have Katrina Kaif in the lead. Does this professional decision have anything to do with Salman and Katrina’s souring personal relationship?

Sohail Khan confirmed the news when he said, “The sequel to Partner will have the same leading actors - Salman and Govinda, but we are looking for different leading ladies.”

David Dhawan is now working on the script of Partner 2, which will go on the floors in March, or latest April, next year.

After which Dhawan is slated to do another film for Sohail Khan Productions, Amar Akbar Anthony.

Katrina had an important role in Partner, released in 2007, where she played the unattainable beauty that Govinda lusted after.

Salman played the love guru who helped Govinda attain her.

This time, obviously, it will have to be another beauty. Is it a blow for Kat’s flourishing career? Well, considering she has been heard saying that she doesn’t want to do films with Salman any more, perhaps not.

According to the grapevine, Katrina Kaif has been chucked out of King Khan’s wolrd tour, Temptations Reloaded.

Kaif’s birthday last month seems to have been a not so happy day for the b’day girl.

Apparently, Sharukh and Salman got nasty with each other, and a word duel ensued.

Salman hit Shah Rukh’s pain spot when he leg-pulled Shah Rukh for Paanchvi Pass’ lukewarm success.Shah Rukh, in turn touched Salman’s raw nerve when he said something not so becoming about Aishwarya Rai. According to sources, Salman took it very personally and lost his temper completely.

Both the Khans were at loggerheads, and the guests at Katrina’s b’day party were forced to take sides.

Now, Katrina being the reason for Salman’s presence at her party doesn’t seem to have gone down well with King Khan.

Though he couldn’t do anything to Salman, he vented out his anger against Salman’s girlfriend Katrina.

Now, all’s not well even on that front. Rumour mills have been abuzz with stories of Salman, Katrina break-up following the embarrassing incidents at Katrina’s party.

Looks like Salman is not Katrina’s lucky mascot anymore rather he is the reason behind her professional loss, or may be a personal one as well. Who knows?

Katrina Kaif might be miffed with beau Salman Khan over his agitated face-offs with fellow King stature actors, costing the lady lucrative assignments and international tour but Sallu remains unaffected by his heated brawls or so he expresses in his latest blog entry.

The actor, who is one of the many Bollywood blogitizens has decided to use the famous tool to express his feelings on the ‘after shocks’ of the much talked about façade.

After warning his fans not to believe the overworking gossip mills churning on the juicy fodder about his infamous SRK brawl, the actor has now decided to let everyone King and Badshah of B-town know that it does not matter to him if his girlfriend is dropped out of any tour.

The actor in his latest entry writes, “Ha ha ha… I told you…didn’t I? Ki Farak Painda Hai (How does it matter)…You keep whacking a stick in water, what will happen to the water? Nothing. If the person doing this does not know that, then what does one do? Laugh because it’s funny or feel sad because it’s sad?”

Hmm we guess who is holding the stick and who is referred to as water.. Confused, well you are bound to be. Sallu is good with arms but not so good with words. However, if one would interpret it seems that it’s SRK, who is holding the stick and it’s the indifferent Salman who is referred to as water.

Phew… all we have to say is stop beating around the bush and start writing in clear words.

Bollywood’s secretive couple, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif has allegedly tied the knot secretly and the recent ugly spat between Sallu and SRK at Katrina’s birthday bash has not been able to shake off their strong relationship.

A source close to the Salman Khan family revealed that the pair exchanged finger bands in front of their respective families and are keen to tie the knot before the year ends.

The source says, “Salman wants to keep things under wraps because he doesn’t want publicity affecting his relationship with Katrina. They will be married within a year if everything goes well. All the members of his family have been advised to remain tight-lipped. So though it’s happened officially, no one in the family is celebrating.”

Salman recently revealed on his Dus Ka Dum show that he is keen to get married and have kids.

The vibes between Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have turned thanda in the last few days.

The spat between Salman and Shahrukh Khan on Katrina Kaif’s birthday has had enormous fallout. Not only did it cause a wedge between Sallu and SRK, it also soured Sallu’s relation with his girlfriend.

Of late, reports have been circulating about an imminent split between Salman and Kat. The first signs were already visible on the sets of Subhash Ghai’s film Yuvraaj which has Salman and Katrina together.

According to reports, the friendly chemistry between the two was completely missing on the film’s set. Salman and Katrina mostly kept to themselves during the shoot. And after canning their shots, the two wouldn’t mingle or strike up a conversation but headed back quietly to their respective vanity vans.

In fact, one media report goes on to say that Katrina has decided not to work with Salman in the future.

On another front, Katrina might become the casualty of the Sallu-SRK spat as there are rumours of her being dropped from the ‘Temptations Reloaded Tour’ which is being helmed by SRK.

The otherwise cool and composed man Shahrukh Khan seems to have not taken the recent spat with Salman Khan lightly. He and his wife Gauri Khan left Katrina Kaif’s birthday party recently following a spat with Katrina’s boyfriend Salman, who threw the party. Now, Shahrukh has responded in his won way.

The news is doing the rounds that Katrina is no longer a part of Shahrukh’s Temptation Reloaded Tour. It is said that Katrina, who was part of the tour along with Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor, Javed Ali, Anushka Dandekar and Ganesh Hedge, has fallen victim to King Khan’s wrath. She is out of the tour now.

But is it fair on the part of Shahrukh to come down heavily on Katrina because of Salman? Well, he will reap what he sow at the end of the day because Katrina has a huge fan following.
