Last updated: October 9, 2026.

Scope

This policy applies to Picshik text-to-image generation, image-to-image generation and editing, prompts, uploaded reference images, generated results, and stored image history. Private content is subject to the same rules as shared content. The policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

Prohibited generated content

The following six categories are prohibited. Do not request, upload, generate, store, or distribute them through Picshik:

  1. Pornography / NSFW: sexually explicit or pornographic images and other sexual content, including non-consensual intimate material.
  2. Violence / gore: graphic violence, gore, torture, abuse, or material threatening, encouraging, or glorifying serious physical harm, terrorism, or self-harm.
  3. Hate speech: hateful or discriminatory attacks, dehumanization, or incitement against people or groups based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, or sexual orientation.
  4. Child-unsafe content / CSAM: child sexual abuse material, sexualization or sexual exploitation of minors, and content endangering children. This applies to real, fictional, altered, and AI-generated depictions.
  5. Deepfakes / impersonation: deceptive deepfakes or impersonation of real people, identity fraud, fabricated evidence involving someone's likeness, or unauthorized and non-consensual likeness use, including intimate imagery.
  6. Copyright / trademark infringement: unauthorized reproduction of protected works, infringing derivatives, misleading brand use, and other content violating copyright or trademarks. You must have the rights or permission needed for your inputs and intended use.

Also prohibited are targeted harassment, privacy violations, fraud, and attempts to evade these rules. Do not claim an AI image is authentic evidence of an event that did not occur. You must comply with the applicable model provider's restrictions as well.

Account and platform integrity

Do not access another user's account or private images, steal credentials, bypass access controls or safety restrictions, introduce malicious code, disrupt availability, or use fraudulent identities and coordinated accounts to exploit promotions.

Reporting channels

Email [email protected] with the subject “Content Report.” You may report prohibited generated content, unsafe reference images, copyright or trademark infringement, impersonation, or other misuse. Include the task ID or page URL if known, the category involved, a brief explanation, and a way for us to reply. Rights holders should identify the protected work or mark and explain their connection to it.

Do not upload or email CSAM, non-consensual intimate images, or other illegal material as evidence. Provide identifiers or a description so authorized reviewers can locate the record. Reports may be made without a Picshik account. We use reporter information only as needed to investigate, respond, and meet legal obligations; we do not disclose it unnecessarily to the reported user. Knowingly false or abusive reports may themselves be investigated.

Content moderation and report handling

Picshik currently relies on human review of reports and other identified safety concerns. Our support contact receives reports, and authorized reviewers examine the relevant task, prompt, reference image, output, and necessary account records. Access to private content is limited to what is needed for the review, consistent with our Privacy Policy. This is not a claim that every request or output has already passed a platform-operated automated or pre-delivery human safety review.

The review process is:

  1. Receive and assess: identify the reported record and concern, request missing information if necessary, and prioritize child-safety concerns or credible threats of serious harm.
  2. Protect while investigating: where necessary, restrict access to identified harmful content or affected generation services while the facts are checked.
  3. Review: authorized personnel assess the available content, context, relevant rights, these rules, and applicable law. We may seek clarification from the reporter or account holder without unnecessarily disclosing private information.
  4. Decide and act: determine whether the concern is substantiated and apply proportionate enforcement. A report alone does not establish a violation.
  5. Notify and record: where appropriate and legally permitted, tell the reporter and affected account holder the outcome or request further information. Keep records needed for review, appeals, security, and legal duties. We do not disclose another user's private account details as part of a report response.

We prioritize severe risks and explain material delays where possible. We do not promise 24/7 staffing, automatic acknowledgement, a two-hour response, or a guarantee that every report is resolved immediately. Where law requires referral or cooperation with a competent authority, we follow the applicable requirements.

Enforcement actions

Depending on severity, available evidence, and repeated conduct, we may issue a warning, refuse a generation request, remove or restrict access to violating content, restrict generation privileges, temporarily suspend service, or permanently terminate service access. Severe child-safety violations, credible threats, or other serious abuse may justify immediate restriction without a prior warning. These measures may be applied manually; they are not a promise of automatic detection or automatic account banning.

Promotional credits obtained by fraud may be revoked. Remaining purchased credits, confirmed failed tasks, disputed payments, and any refund entitlement are handled under our Refund Policy and applicable law, rather than automatically forfeiting every balance. We may retain the minimum records required for investigations and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

Appeals

If you believe a decision is mistaken, reply to the decision email or email [email protected] with the subject “Content Appeal,” the task or account identifier, and the reason for reconsideration. We review the decision and any new evidence, and communicate the outcome where possible. While an appeal is pending, necessary safety restrictions may remain in place. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or illegal content with an appeal.
