A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you start creating.

How models, references, credits and your workspace fit together.

Can I use Picshik as a free text-to-image generator for product photos?

Yes. New accounts receive free credits to try text-to-image creation for product concepts, marketing visuals and AI art. For an exact existing product or SKU, use image-to-image with your own reference photo because text-only generation cannot guarantee an exact match.

What can I create with Picshik?

Picshik is a text-to-image and image-to-image workspace for exploring product visuals, campaign ideas, portraits, illustrations and other creative directions. Start with a prompt, choose a supported model and review the output before using it.

Which image models can I choose?

Choose Grok Imagine 2.0, Grok Imagine or Lite; GPT Image 2.5 or 2; Nano Banana 2, 2.1 or Pro; Seedream 5.0 Pro; or Qwen Image 3.0 or Pro. Grok is the default low-credit choice. Reference editing and output settings vary by model; check the workspace quote before generating.

Can I write prompts in English or Chinese?

Yes, the input accepts both English and Chinese. Clear descriptions of the subject, composition, setting and light are useful starting points. How closely an image follows your wording depends on the selected model and prompt.

How do I use reference images?

Sign in and use +, paste or drag-and-drop to add up to five JPG, PNG or WebP images, each up to 10MB. Choose a reference-capable model such as Nano Banana 2. The current Grok relay is text-to-image only and will not silently switch you to a paid provider.

Are gifted and purchased credits different?

No. All valid credits share one balance and can be used on supported models. Signup, invitation and purchase are only bookkeeping sources. The quote changes with the model and settings, while expiry follows the original grant or pack rules.

Which canvas and resolution options are available?

Options are model-specific. Grok Imagine 2.0 offers 1K and 2K, standard, detailed or automatic quality, and one, two or four outputs. Nano Banana 2 offers up to 4K, one output per request and up to five references. The visual canvas selector lists supported aspect ratios.

Will my references or generated images be public?

Your uploaded references and generated images are kept in your signed-in workspace and are not automatically published. Use My creations to review available task history and download outputs. This version stores images on the application server.

What happens if image generation fails?

Credits for unsuccessful outputs are refunded according to the task settlement rules. When only some requested outputs succeed, the successful portion is charged and the rest is returned. A pending task remains queryable; refreshing does not intentionally submit a duplicate generation.

Your next image starts with an idea.

Bring a sentence, a reference or a little curiosity. Make something worth exploring.
