Constructing Miniature River Stone Dam and Wood Waterwheel

Full prompt

A sweeping horizontal landscape photograph depicting children collaborating along the gravel bank of a shallow forest creek, constructing a small dam and working waterwheel out of twigs and river stones. Clear, cold water cascades over their carefully stacked slate wall, spinning a tiny paddlewheel carved from cedar bark. Children's hands gently place flat river rocks to direct the flow, their faces glowing with problem-solving enthusiasm. Dappled forest light cuts through cedar and fir branches, illuminating floating pine needles and sparkling water foam. Shot on a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens at 45mm, delivering exceptional micro-contrast, organic earth textures, and an authentic editorial narrative of outdoor engineering play.
