Left-Edge Calla Lily with a Soft White Architectural Fold
website banner · tempera · architectural flower · negative space
Design a 3:2 landscape website hero in the spirit of Barnett Newman's reductive color-field compositions. Position one white calla lily along the left edge, showing its back and folded petal seam rather than its open throat. Allow the stem to leave the bottom border and reserve the right two thirds as an uninterrupted black background. A bright, soft white gradient should turn the flower into an architectural fold, with the palest gray concentrated around its base. Use thin tempera layers on a smooth panel and a single hairline ivory zip close to the left boundary. Avoid all lettering and keep the silhouette readable at smaller display sizes.
