Vertical Sumi-e Mountain Stairway with Father and Child
vertical sumi-e · mountain steps · fatherhood · mist
Design a 9:16 portrait sumi-e painting for a vertical social story, showing a father carrying a child on his back up a quiet mountain stairway. Place the figures in the lower third, with a few irregular stone steps rising diagonally toward a tall, mist-obscured summit. Leave the upper central area largely untouched so the vertical landscape breathes. Elegant brushstrokes should describe the father's steady legs and the child's small arms resting around his shoulders. Use soft black ink, feathered gray washes, and pale ivory paper with subtle visible fibers. Cool dawn light filters through the mountain fog. Keep every mark economical, preserving a tranquil atmosphere, clear silhouettes, and profound simplicity without lettering or ornamental borders.
